Burnside Law Firm, LLC is a proud sponsor of the South Congaree Rodeo! The 2023 Bull Bash is Friday and Saturday, March 24th and 25th at 395 Oak Street, West Columbia, SC 29172. Gates open at 5pm and the Rodeo starts around 7:30pm.

What exactly is a rodeo? According to Wikipedia a “Rodeo is a competitive equestrian sport that arose out of the working practices of cattle herding in Spain and Mexico. This sport expanded throughout the Americas and to other nations. It was originally based on the skills required of the working vaqueros. Today, it is a sporting event that involves horses and other livestock. The event tests the skill and speed of the cowboys and cowgirls. American-style professional rodeos generally comprise the following events: tie-down roping, team roping, steer wrestling, saddle bronc riding, bareback bronc riding, bull riding and barrel racing.”

South Congaree Rodeo is sanctioned by the IPRA. It is a Championship Rodeo and has cowboys and cowgirls form all over competing. There is fun for the whole family including a mechanical bull, food vendors and more!
